• To create opportunities for deserving young and adolescent children to experience the performing arts through exposure, active participation and educational programs.
• To provide opportunities for underprivileged children and adolescents to integrate Latin American culture as part of their educational experience and to offer teachers the opportunity of sabbaticals in Latin America to further their knowledge of cultures and languages.
• To create opportunities for medical training in the United States for doctors and residents committed to working for the “Fundacion Clinica Shaio” in Bogota, Colombia, a fifty year old, 200 bed, non-profit cardiovascular hospital.
